The 'Uncinia rubra Everflame', also called red sedge, is a striking grass with graceful red thin leaves. In the summer months the plant blooms with red-brown plumes and grows to a height of about 40 cm. This red 'Uncinia' is a beautiful plant that comes into its own in a decorative pot on the balcony or terrace, but it can also give a nice striking twist to your garden.
